Finally, got to ride Vinnie today….He was a very good boy for not being ridden for a few weeks. Got him over a few fences, he now has gained a little confidence today and did awesome in the end….

No riding! It rained so hard this weekend I was not able to ride at all. I was at the Mane Event shopping (of course!) but I didn get a chance to watch the George Morris clinic which was very good.

Well even though it rained I did get a chance to ride both of my horses! Fuzz and Vinnie are both coming along very well. Fuzz is able to round and get on the bit at w/t/c  and getting all her leads. Vinnie is able to round and get on the bit at w/t and got his leads 90% of the time. He is still working on rounding at canter.

Well we made it thru the last week of lessons and ended it well with a trail ride. Everyone did great and it was alot of fun.

But now its time for me to really get to work. From now on the blog will be used as training log for both Vinnie and Fuzz. Oh and Flashy….

For the last week of lessons, I am giving everyone the option of going on a trail ride instead of their regular lesson…

The time I am reserving for the trail ride is 10:30 Am Saturday. The trail ride will consist of riding along the dyke all the way to the dog park by Twin Oaks. This ride is approx 1 hour and 15 mins. Don’t think it is gonna be easy. Anyone who would like to go on a trail ride instead let me know, you would be taking your usual horse.

It’s been a wonderful spring and summer, some great shows and all of you progressed so well.  With the rainy season coming I have decided to round up lessons for the winter as I know not everyone loves to ride in the rain and I need time to focus on my horses so they are ready for show season for next year.  So lessons will end at the end of September this year.
