Well finally it wasn’t raining, the horses got some time on the field to kick their heels up and have a good run.

Today I got a chance to work with Winger in the round pen and we worked on lunging without the lungeline and our voice comands and how to go forward. I am finding he really doesn’t like to go forward. So that kindof sets our training back some. I orginally thought that he was very good with walk trot canter, but apparently he was being worked 5 days/week at that time. So, I don’t feel so guilty now not working in saddle. For the next couple of training sessions, we will be working the round pen and working on getting him in shape and getting him under himself.

Cassia was wonderful as usual. I totally appreciate my push button horse after riding Winger. Winger is a workout where Cassia is not as much, she works herself more than anything. Cassia and I went for a mini trail ride to get her comfortable leaving home and then coming back.

Tommorow is Winger and Fuzz.
